We are committed to raising and giving critical funds through the Miami Dolphins Foundation to tackle challenges in health and education.


Every year the Miami Dolphins Foundation hosts a weekend of golf and fishing featuring Miami Dolphins players, coaches, alumni and cheerleaders. Proceeds provide scholarships and mentoring to improve graduation rates for South Florida kids.

Launched in 2010 as the signature initiative of the Miami Dolphins Foundation, the DCC is a way for us all to be cancer fighters! The DCC has raised over 22.5 Million for the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center to fund innovative cancer research.

The Miami Dolphins Special Teams is a unique volunteer organization created to enlist and mobilize services in the community with Miami Dolphins staff, players and alumni.

Miami Dolphins RISE Award


Founded in 2015 by Miami Dolphins owner Stephen M. Ross, the Ross Initiative in Sports for Equality (RISE) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to harnessing the unifying power of sports to improve race relations and drive social progress.


Miami Dolphins players, along with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, Miami Dolphins Vice Chairman, President & CEO Tom Garfinkel, joined members of the North Miami Police Department and Broward Sheriff’s Office to show support and take part in ride alongs.

Charitable Giving

The Miami Dolphins Foundation has a strong commitment to the community of South Florida to try and assist as many nonprofit organizations as possible within our geographical region.

Disaster Relief

In the aftermath of a national disaster, the organization will immediately deploy its Miami Dolphins Special Teams program to assist with much needed rebuilding projects. We are there to lend a helping hand when disaster strikes.

Concussion Program

The Miami Dolphins Foundation has partnered with the University of Miami Sports Medicine Institute and KIDZ neuroscience Center at the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis to sponsor the University of Miami Countywide Concussion Care High School Program. In all, the program will impact more than 15,000 student athletes per year.

Kids and Fins

The Miami Dolphins and Publix join together to take 125 students from four schools within the tri-county area on a shopping spree ahead of the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Community Service Academy

The Miami Dolphins Community Service Academy (CSA) is a week-long volunteer experience camp for high school students.

Holiday Toy Drive

The Miami Dolphins welcomed 125 kids from Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties partner elementary schools to the Dolphins Holiday Toy Event at the Baptist Health Training Facility.

Hospital visits

Miami Dolphins players, alumni and cheerleaders take time throughout the year to visit various hospitals within the South Florida community. Trips include visits to Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Centers pediatric unit Alex’s Place and Baptist Children’s Hospital.

Military honors

The Miami Dolphins remain very involved within the Military community. At each home football game, a military hero is honored and recognized for their service of defending our country.

Thanksgiving giveaway

Miami Dolphins players, staff, alumni and members of the Miami Dolphins Womens Organization partner with Publix to provide various Thanksgiving meal giveaways to underserved areas throughout the community.

Rebuild together project

The Miami Dolphins rookie class participated in a Rebuilding Together Broward event at AMIkids of Greater Fort Lauderdale. AMIkids is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping youth develop into responsible and productive citizens.

School visits

Miami Dolphins players, staff, cheerleaders and alumni participate in various school visits throughout the year.

Junior Dolphins

The Junior Dolphins program encourages youth players and coaches to learn, teach and play football in a fun and safe environment.
